Milton®'s straight-through quick release couplers and plugs provide a smooth, straight-through bore to permit maximum flow. They are commonly used for high-pressure water supply lines for carpet cleaners and pressure washers. They are made from solid brass or steel and plated to resist rust. Our couplers have stainless steel springs and balls to permit more durability and a longer life span.

Note the below pressure ratings (steel plugs with a brass coupler are the most common) and DO NOT disconnect while under pressure (no valves).

Our straight-thru fittings are ideal for applications that call for fittings with more strength in corrosive environments to handle higher pressures than our low-pressure fittings. Typically, used with high-pressure brass and bronze threaded pipe fittings. The plating on these brass fittings creates a shiny finish and provides extra protection in corrosive environments.
